See where the class of landed. The annual spring Career Expo is the biggest journalism job fair in the United States, open exclusively to graduating students at Columbia Journalism School. In the spring ofamid the Covid crisis, we held our first Virtual Expo with editors, producers and recruiters from news operations who came to interview, mentor and hire J-School students.
Nearly 2, video interviews and phone calls took place, with employers and students connecting from locations around the globe. The results were extremely positive. Both students and employers praised the virtual format as satisfying, productive and efficient. Opportunities evolve every year.
